    Transit

    January 6, 2018 in Austria ⋅ 🌫 6 °C

    Bah what a stressful morning!

We left with plenty of time and planned to get the metro.
We bought our tickets and then got told it wasn't running today...
annnnnd then came the stress. A little annoyed that we paid but the stress of missing the bus was far stronger.
And then began the 3km walk to reach the bus stop in time..
I say walk but my legs were on over drive. I was in so much pain and so damn hot.
I ran at certain times to keep up with Will. Stupid daddy long legs.
We did make it AND I found a magnet. I had totally given that idea a miss but due to our awesome athletic ability I had time to get one quickly before jumping on the bus. Its pretty average but I was still pleased.

Our bus driver was ridiculous. He tried to take the back routes and got lost. I slept a good chuck of the journey but I was awake for 2 complete U - turns so not sure how many he actually did throughout the whole journey hahah
He wasn't skilled with the brake either. So jerky. We arrived 30 mins late.
Our hostel was 5km away so we caught the metro - thank goodness it was working here! 🤗
We had to change over but the system was easy to understand and efficient.
Back to German booo so ugly hahah
Found our hostel and checked in. It's the same company as the one in Munich. Same everything pretty much.
Our room was empty so we got to pick our beds yayaayya
We got room mates shortly after from the Dominican Republic. I don't think I've met anyone from there so that was cool. They talked it up and now I want to go lol

We went out for an early dinner to get schnitzels but todays is the 4782 public holiday we have experiences in our European travels (honestly outrageous) so the place we walked to was closed.
    I think it's children's day or something ?

We found an Italian place open.

Back home and I'm shattered. It's only 7:20 so I'll try stay awake a little longer before I crash :$
