    Te Waikoropupu Springs

    January 29, 2018 in New Zealand ⋅ ☀️ 25 °C

One day after we visited the Farewell Spit we did a sidetrip to the Pupu Springs. There we could see the clearest, naturally occurring water of the world. It´s comparable with distilled water and so clear that you can see the ground even when the water is 63 metres deep. It has also a shiny turquoise colour and thats why our pictures look a bit unreal - but they are real! Cause of this specific nature, swimming and even touching the water is prohibited to not contaminate it.
