    Welcome back to WA

    June 8, 2019 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 18 °C

Well I changed my mind about staying so close to the cliff edge, the wind was howling rocking the van and I couldn’t get to sleep (visions of the cliff carving off and us dropping into the ocean) So at 1.30am I moved us further away from the edge to be safe, I then had a good 6.5 hours of sound sleep.
We set out for the border where we filled up with fuel at 211 cents per litre before going through the quarantine check (the lady today was very friendly, I tried to apologise for the pups barking at her, but she said no let them bark it’s their home and I’m a stranger, and she wished us a safe journey.
We are now 354kms inside the WA border at the Caiguna Blow hole free camp where we are staying overnight.
The blowhole which only about 10 metres off the side of the road must link up to underground caves which is what causes the blowhole to breath as the air inside and outside equalise in pressure.
