Long Bay

Cat and her brother went to play golf, so the rest of us headed over to Long Bay for some beach action. Really pretty and quiet beach - sheltered at the top but pretty blustery down by the water so paddling only for me, although the boys obviously immediately threw themselves in on arrival.
Everyone topped up their Brits Abroad burn from the day before. Smugly I somehow got away with it apart from the tops of my feet (foolish!).
Went for a beer in a brewery on the beach near Browns Bay - had the Lotus Pale Ale which was v nice. Stopped off on the way home for some more drinks from a funny little ‘bottle shop’ offie.
In the evening, we went out for drinks at Dr Rudis and dinner at Oyster&Chop, which was delicious and pretty fancy. Downside was I conked out at about 10 (thanks jet lag) so Nick, Mandy and I got a cab home. Fell asleep in cab. Fell asleep as soon as entered the house. Zzzzz...Read more
