    Eaglehawk Neck and surrounding areas.

    June 15, 2017 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 14 °C

I took a long drive down to the South of the island, to Port Arthur! I stopped off at EagleHawk Neck and sat down to admire the view. Eaglehawk Neck is a tiny isthmus which connects the Tasman Peninsula with the Forestier Peninsula. After, I drove to the Tasman Blowhole and Devils Kitchen. Watching the sun set over the hills as families and fishermen finished their day and played on the Tessellated Pavement. The sun set was gorgeous tonight and everywhere seemed so peaceful. I decided to stop off for the night at Port Arthur Holiday Park. The drive to Port Arthur is stunning. The jetties filled with Yachts and boats and fishing charters, the sound of the birds and the calmness of the water.

That following morning I woke up to the sweetest sound of the dawn chorus. Blue fair wrens, Flame robins, Green Rosella's, Ravens, finches and sparrows too! My camera couldn't focus on all the birds so I only have a few snapshots of the wildlife. I was surrounded by Pademelons too at night and saw 1 Portaroo! Happy days xo
