Elephant Sanctuary

We really wanted the kids to see elephants. So we were looking for an ethical elephant sanctuary. We found one in Bophut that provides a home for rescued elephants. They all had their sad stories 😞. Glad we could contribute to this way of enjoying these giant animals instead of riding on them.

Evan loved it! He even gave the elephants bananas! Kylo was a bit afraid, offcourse haha our little chicken, but after a while even he fed an elephant.

This morning Evan had a bit of a fever, 38.3 Celcius. We decided to go see the elephants but check him regularly. After a while he felt warmer, 39.3. So we immediately went to the hospital. At thatbmoment we had to act quickly, you never know what it could be. In the hospital his temperature had gone up to 39.8. The doctot checked him right away and thank god it was only a little throat infection! Kylo had a great time in the hospital, in his racecar 😂.Read more
