    Jack's Point and Kingston

    April 13, 2022 in New Zealand ⋅ ⛅ 10 °C

On Wednesday morning we traveled to Jardine Park on the Frankton peninsula, and rode the trail to Jack's Point. The first 5km were great, and the views were outstanding. However the next 2.4km were a grade 4 track, which I hated and Pete loved. I walked a lot of it. We finished at Jack's Point Golf Course cafe, where we had a great lunch by the lake. On the way back we were able to bypass the grade 4 track.

When we got back to Jardine Park, we rode a loop around the peninsula and through the Kelvin Grove sculpture park.

For the night we traveled along the lakeside towards Kingston, and stayed at the Kingston freedom camp. It was a great spot right by the lake and not too crowded.
