Well I have seen a few market halls in my time but never one as nice as this, the outside is quite impressive with restaurants and appartments around the outside but the inside was something else, it certainly put Cradley Heath and Brierley Hill to shame. We left the ship after breakfast to catch the shuttle bus into Rotterdam, on our arrival we had rain, thunder and lightning but it did not deter from exploring. Our first port of call was the Market Hall and to get to this we had to cross the Metro and pass the Cube Houses, the Church and City Hall, no pictures of this building.Read more

Today we had two craft classes, one am and one pm. They went brilliantly and were attended well we had 43 in first class and 48 in the second, we had well and truly earned a drink. The weather was overcast and the sea had a slight swell but I managed to keep the Gin down. Yesterday evening was Captain's Cocktail Reception and Formal Dinner. We each got to meet the captain and have our photo taken with him, we then watched the Abba tribute show followed by a formal dinner and were seated with a couple of very nice ladies, I think we scrub up quite well.Read more
Today we have arrived at Invergordon and have walked the Mural Trail around the town, pictures to follow. We have visited various shops and have parted with a little money. There are a few oils rigs docked in the harbour as this is the deepest channel were they can come to be repaired.Read more
