Day 14 - Mall of America/331 Club

Today was super fun. We spent several hours at the Mall of America just hanging out and going floor to floor. I believe there was four floors. Plus there was a giant rollercoaster and water flume thing not to mention full size restaurants. We stopped and got Korean fried chicken and milkshakes. I got a flannel for Europe at H&M.

After we were on a radio show and played some tunes. The guy who ran it is also the one who hosts this monthly blues gig at the venue. The venue itself was really long and had a small stage. It reminded me of Blue in Portland.

I felt my first set was off but the second was way better. A drummer named Vick sat in and I played harmonica. Then a dude named Jeremy played guitar and e was awesome. The other drummer stepped down and they invited our host to play harmonica.

After the gig we went to get some food at Wendy’s. Andrew was a little “overly happy” and couldn’t be calm for awhile. Now we’re driving to the hotel which is halfway to our gig tomorrow.Read more
