    Exploring Mimosa National Park

    November 20, 2017 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 20 °C

We went along a dodgy dirt road and found a cute little echidna along the way. Max and all the kids jumped out a gave it a pat.
We found a beautiful little lagoon after walking through a stack of mozzies and Max ate his first oyster ( a wild one off the rock, dingo ate about 8) - Mav put one in his mouth but spat it out pretty quick! Saw a red bellied black snake on the way home - arrggg! Dingo warned us there's a lot of brown snakes about too but so far thank goddess we haven't run into one!
Last night here, it's so lovely I could stay longer. $30 a night with no water and fly invested pit toilets will make it easier to leave. Ticks are around too, Mav pulled one off his arm and we've had one crawling in our bed - there's a warning sign about them. The wallabies are covered in them ( we have Wayne - our pet wallaby - constantly hanging around waiting for a crust).
Went into Tathra today and enjoyed hot chips for lunch and the boys got naked and went for an ocean swim.
Have had no reception so I'm not sure when this will load! Missing everyone xx
