Lisbon

So our first day in Lisbon started off very early from London. 3am! Got a little list trying to find the long stay carpark at Heathrow but we got there eventually.
Arrived in Lisbon after 10am and took an Uber to the Four Seasons Ritz Lisbon. Nice hotel but very old school and chintzy.
Had lunch in their Japanese restaurant - fresh sushi made right in front of you. They were accomodating for Serena and made some cucumber and carrot Maki rolls for her.
Then we had a 2 hour tour of Lisbon in a tuktuk which was great. The guide also stopped for me to pop in and get some Portuguese tarts which were divine.
I came back and slept for an hour but Michael and Serena popped over to the swimming across the street as the hotel one was closed.
In evening we went for dinner at the Time Out Market which has around 25 food and drink stalls to choose from. Definitely recommend it. Good value for money. Bit tourist but it's expected in a place like this.
Early to bed tonight and then tomorrow we're off to the botanical garden as the weather looks nice.Read more
