First Night

We arrived at the hotel at 3pm and decided to have a Wander around to see what there was at the hotel. We have the most amazing sea view, and although it was hazy, later in the day it cleared off to reveal Mount Versuvious in the distance. We had lunch by the pool and chilled in the room for an hour before heading into Sorrento by the shuttle bus.

We had the most gorgeous evening walking around the shops and the tiny streets. Admiring the open churches and impressive local crafts. We found a little Restaurant - Taverna Dell-800. Dad, Lucy and I had authentic pasta dishes and Mum had Veal. The food was lush and we indulged in a local white wine. For €12 per litre!!!

Walking back to the bus, we stopped off to try local Cannoli, I had pistachio and lemon and they were amazing!
Once back at the hotel we sat on the balcony watching some fireworks across the bay, absorbing all the lights seen from across the sea.

Tomorrow we are up early, and headed to Pompeii!Read more
