The ‘Katsushika Hokusai - Another Story in Tokyo’ Exhibition featured ‘The 36 Views of Mt Fuji’ which became 48 that he published in his 70’s. The panels were all placed low so we bowed to his genius. He was considered a ‘multi-creator’ crossing genres. He was keenly aware of the world, its trends and the culture of the time and he had a great desire to express them.
