Syracuse

The girls and I went to the Greek Theatre today whilst John headed to Catania to pick up Sarah who was flying in from Rome. We got there just on opening so no one around, ticket salesman took a liking to us and only charged 10 euro instead of 10 euro each. Liked him!!!!! Greek amphitheatre is huge and the caves equally so. As we were leaving the buses were arriving full of tourists, good choice to go early. We went home then wandered down to the waterfront and swam and sunbathed, so lovely and warm. Usual story, lunch then siesta. Just arrived back after a lovely dinner.
