The start of our motorcycle adventures

It's hard to believe we have only been in India for two day. We have seen and done so much. Yesterday we visited a Sikkh Temple it was a fascinating experience. The people were very welcoming and gracious. We then exchanged money in a van ...it all seemed rather dodgy but it all worked out and a good rate. We then caught a train from New Delhi to Bharatpur . Today we had an early start and visited a UNESCO bird park by rickshaw. The birds were truly amazing. After lunch things really ramped up to a whole new level. We were off on the Royal Enfield motorcycle OMG what an adventure!!! Swerving people, bikes, tractors,dogs,pigs,goats,cows,cars, and everything else CHAOS. Dave did an amazing job..but we certainly had our moments and it didn't help with the brakes and the gears going the opposite way. Major stress ...then we got caught in the dark traveling back ..but thankfully made it back without incident.

But I am just loving India the people are beautiful, the sights, the colour, it's so fascinating, and the food has been delicious .Read more
