    Paris Fun Bits

    July 4, 2018 in France ⋅ ⛅ 28 °C

    There is lots different here... just a few are;

    ~ hawkers and gypsies. If they can’t get eye contact, they leave you alone.
    ~ washrooms. Say toilets and you will offend. In Paris, you wash and obviously don’t wee... unless you agree ie oui oui 😆
    ~ street signs. Every corner has a plaque declaring the section number, if it’s an avenue, street or, boulevard and the name. Always know where you are; mostly.
    ~ dog walkers on bikes; who carry the dogs
    ~ riverside green boxes. They are rented to sell from turning the river into a cultural market in the evenings and weekends
    ~ no cars over 20 years old. So cars, bikes, quads are shared right off the street and left where you finish.
    ~ lots of smokers. Lots. Odd from an Aussie perspective.
    ~ traffic is insane. Only rule it appears is give way to your right and if you want to turn right, ignore the only rule. (Post vid next)
