Costa Rica-escape to paradise

For some packing their travel bags is a ritual to welcome the spirit of travel into their minds.
For me ... it is hell.
The fact that we decided to go on this journey with hand luggage only, made it even worse.
Minimalism at its finest...I admit, not something I am good at. In the end I have packed my backpack so it would match the allowed hand luggage size ...puh ... done and only minutes before I needed to leave for the train😅 yes yes ... time management skills.
The train ride to Frankfurt was really relaxing. Security check was fast since there weren’t many people around. And then our boarding started. As the plane took off and I saw the clouds beneath us, I felt it ... it really happened ... I’ve escaped...before me an adventure, sun, wilderness and the ocean.

I waved goodbye to Germany, a country I love but felt imprisoned in for the last weeks. Never have I ever worried so much before a trip. But now ... enough of this sentimental speech ... I leave it all behind.
