Ilfracombe

We arrived in Ilfracombe on Friday after a few detours on route to collect a hang glider and drop off some car parts. We met with family in Wetherspoons for dinner and drinks. It was a standard Spoons with reasonable food and decently fast service.
Slept in a hotel a short walk (Britannia). I think we'd rate it as okay. The bed wasn't the most comfortable and there was no light inside the shower cubicle. Annoying the hotel has no car park, however if I hadn't been getting up to put money on the car I wouldn't have taken these photos of the harbour. It was really beautiful with the sun rising behind it. Seagulls were loud and scream - although you quickly get used to it!Read more
