Coops, NOLA

So after a little bit of a walk where I met puppies and a horse named Jenny, my friend had us stand in line at Coop’s at 9:00 pm. I was cynical as it was so crowded and took a while to get in. Luckily, we had a guitarist jamming jazz music across the street in a hot pink light as we waited. Nevertheless, i was impatient after a long day. I thought, no place could ever be this good. We got in and wow. My friend Jake told me i should order the rabbit jambalaya and I couldnt do it. For someone open to trying new things, I was cynical. Nevertheless, he ordered it and we split it. Heaven. So delicious I sat there with each bite trying to figure out the ingredients for recreation at home. I know I won’t be able to though, and that’s just fine. This is New Orleans and this is there thing. But I’ll tell you what I’m so down with it. The music, food, lgbt culture. I am in and can’t wait for the adventure.Read more
