Day 17

What goes up must come down but first we had more steps to climb. Up at 5 to walk up Poon Hill for sunrise over the Annapurnas, Dhaulagiri and Machhapuchhare. Then we continued down a stone staircase descending nearly 2000m! Met a Nepali Uni group trekking who were good company. Again, the landscape changed as we descended through jungle like forests and the temperature really increased. It was time to thank our guides and porters with tips and a few beers.
