Cheetah Park to the Skeleton coast

    September 1, 2017 in Namibia ⋅ ☀️ 14 °C

It was the hottest day yet today where even the wind coming in through the open sides and beach felt like a hair dryer on full blast. While stopping to pick up supplies we got talking to locals who speak in English but some words have clicks in the middle of them. In the afternoon we both travelled in the cab with Often where you get a good view ahead. We stopped on the roadside and used the time wisely to play throwing games with stones, as you do. We arrived in good time at the best wild camp yet that was in the middle of a wide circular valley, surrounded by hills. Camp fire, drawing competitions n the sand and a bbq of orix made fir a perfect evening.Read more

Sounds great. Namibia coastline is very dramatic. Hope you get to see some of the "skeleton" shipwrecks on the beach. Does it get cold at night? I bet the stars are amazing.

You both look so good but make the best of the heat as you will certainly notice the difference in a couple of weeks time. The evening round the campfire sounds great. Enjoy, love xxxx
