    Peaks and troughs

    September 17, 2017 in Brazil ⋅ 🌙 19 °C

A great saying I once heard from a man called coco which sums up life in general sprung to mind after my first 48hrs.
Not even set foot in our first hostel and I manage to loose my wallet along with all my bank cards and drivers license. Good start: Trough
Soaked up some rays on Copacabana beach whilst sooking on a fresh coconut: Peak
A hobo has a square go with Elaine, im on en! For some reason he took offence to her sun tan lotion?? Trough
Timed a trip up sugar loaf mountain to perfection! Caught the sun setting behind the big yin. Followed by a cracking steak dinner and craft beer. Brazil is right in to the craft beer thing!: Peak
Woke up early to hike up a little known trail through a monkey jungle to see Christo Redentor, only to be greeted by armed guards and plenty of warnings saying "armed robbery likely on trail!". Fuck that: Trough
Saw some monkeys anyway and found another amazing beach!: Peak

So Rio is an amazing city, could almost say one of a kind because of its placement. The skyline is breathtaking, the beaches are gorgeous even if a little busy, food is great and people are interesting.

    Obrigado Rio
