    Stocking up

    June 29, 2020 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 81 °F

While Glenn and Jon drove to Lafayette to purchase the tow dolly (Praise the Lord, I will not have to drive long distances anymore), I went to the local grocery store to pick up on much needed items.

We are current in the small town of Nashville,Indiana so the prices were pretty steep. I got the essentials like bread milk and cereal. I took a picture and sent to Glenn so that if he is in a store, he wouldn’t get the same thing.

Around 11am, I finally had a bowl of cereal and strawberries.

I did watch East White Oak 8am morning challenge by Scott Boerckel and then the 12noon Neil and Vela show.

I worked on putting lining paper on the shelves- the kind of stuff that doesn’t move.

I fixed a sandwich and I’m waiting for Jon and Glenn to return for their lunch sandwich.

We are staying at the KOA Brown county. Very nice facility. Kinda old and run down. We are parked on a slight hill.

There's a cool way to fold up your bag when you get there: my mom calls it bag origami 😋 ; I learned it at the food bank I'm helping at; you roll the bag up from the sides, then you take the corner and fold it to make a triangle. Then fold up. Repeat the process until you get to the top of the bag. Then take the handles and tuck them in the little flap that is in the "origami". Have fun on your trip! [Diego :)]

There's a way you can fold up your PLASTIC bags when you get back home: fold up the corner to make a triangle, then fold up and repeat until you are at the top, then tuck the handles in the flap. You're welcome! I learned that at the food bank me and my mom is helping at. My mom taught me. [Diego]

I only know about Nashville, Tennessee. I don't know anything about Nashville, Indiana. What does it look like? Is there good food there? Is there a Freddy's? [[Diego]]
