Traveler I liked it
Hi Gab & family, what an amazing trip you are having! Awesome planning - maybe a career as a travel agent awaits. There has been no mention of gypsies in Italy, such a shame. Eleanor was in Italy last December. She was billeted with a family in Genoa for 3 weeks and went to school there. She visited lots of the same places. xxkate
Traveler Thanks Kate, I have done aot of "I was last here with Kate in 1991/1992". Man, travelling is so much easier since the invention of the internet. I can't believe that a) we managed to do what we did on so little money and b) did it all with one travel book containing itty bitty writing! But still, I would hate to you t the number of hours I put into the research (the downside of the internet - endless amounts of information and opinions). In new territory now as gave never been to Austria or Germany. Rain in wrecking my plans, I didn't have contingency for wet weather stuff. More the running through the hills alive with the sound of music types of visions really. Kids are so lucky these days with choices for exchange! We only got to see the inside of the Genoa train station. Thanks for writing, lovely to hear from you! Love, me xx
