Camp 25 Alarcon

Camp 25 Alarcon, parked up next to the Torre de Armas looking onto Alarcon castle. What a superb wild spot. Did a shortish drive today 90 miles, called at Aldi to restock and an aire to empty waste and fill water ready for another week of wild camping. Alarcon is amazing built in the 13th century surrounded on all sides by a very deep gorge, apart from the narrow stretch we are parked on which was protected by the Torre de Amas fortification and a further gated entrance. Had a nice walk around the village, deserted as usual at this time of year but can imagine will be packed in summer. Had short 5 mile walk along the gorge to 2 further towers protecting the peninsula from the opposite side. Now our view is of a beautiful lit up castle.Читать далее
