Camp Lac De Madine

Camp 34 Lac De Madine. Had a short stop enroute when we saw a sign at the side of the road pointing to Trenches Allemagne Down a little track. Drove down for a mile or so and found the German world war 1 trenches and craters where the French miners dug under the German lines and laid explosives. Quite strange atmosphere now all covered in forest when during the war there wasn’t a tree in site.Read more
