    Lazy day Tuesday

    We lazed, browsed, napped, drank tea, then wine and generally had a great day. Gordon enhanced his experience by running a few clothes through the washer. The house advertises washer and dryer. We found the dryer out on the patio ... a rack ... but it worked.

    For our big activity we walked up the hill to the Restaurant da Mimi for lunch. That pasta looking thing is actually winter squash baked in marinara and mozzarella. Delicious! Gordon had a thick rich vegetable soup and a salad with fresh tuna. We splurged on pistachio profiteroles for dessert.

    On our way out Luigi, the spunky 4-year-old son of our waitress, brought out 2 fresh lemons for us to take out. I think he was going off the reservation, but the waitress smiled and said it was fine. Shoulda gotten a photo of the little fireball.
