    Big Island Relaxation

    September 26, 2019 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 28 °C

We must be at a higher altitude or in remote area that the roosters can’t access. I get to wake up to the sound of silence. That’s a change.

We pack our bags for beach time today. We have a route with our guide James to visit a couple of historic places and also visit beaches for some snorkeling.

We have a nice a sunny day for now. Let’s use it to the max. We get to snorkel at 2 beaches and have lunch a a third that should have offered snorkeling but the tide is too high and the water is dangerous here. If you’re not sure, don’t take a chance.

At one of the beaches we get to see 5 dolphins 🐬 in a pod just swimming around and coming up for air from time to time. They do not seem to mind us as they come pretty close. We avoid touching them, there is a law in Hawaii to protect wild life. We need to stay 10 feet from them.

We relax and enjoy the view by a beach before dinner. The waves are pretty strong which allows us to see a pretty show 🌊.

We end the evening at a place called Huggo’s. It’s by the ocean and has a great view of the sunset. We had a magical evening with a great view of the sunset. We also got a drink in a super huge bowl with 24 inch straws. It was written in the menu that it required at least 2 people to drink it. We took the challenge 👍
