Fleurieu Peninsula

Nach ein paar Tagen in Port Adelaide, am Largs Bay und Semaphore Beach bei schönen Stunden mit tollen Leuten sind wir entlang an unzähligen Weinbergen, Olivenhängen und Mandelplantagen nach Rapid Bay gefahren. Dies liegt auf der Fleurieu Peninsula, eine hügelige Halbinsel mit einer großen Weinregion, südlich von Adelaide.

Am Rapid Bay Campingplatz konnten wir einen Platz direkt am Strand erhaschen, von dem man bei wunderschöner Kulisse aus, super im Meer schwimmen konnte. Wir haben natürlich auch wieder am Camper weitergearbeitet, nun haben wir den Rost fast komplett umgewandelt und die Löcher verschlossen. Ein paar neue LED-Lichter und eine neue Soundanlage hat Viktor auch installiert.

Nun wieder zurück in Adelaide, haben wir uns ein wenig die Innenstadt angeschaut und die Festivitäten im The Gardens miterlebt (zurzeit gibt es an mehreren Orten in Adelaide verschiedene Festivals). Hier kann man sich Shows von Musikern, Artisten, Comedians usw. ansehen oder verschiedene kulinarische Gerichte oder Getränke ausprobieren.

Seid gestern haben wir nun auch einen Job, der wahrscheinlich nächste Woche beginnt, und zwar werden wir bei der Weinernte aushelfen. Leider nicht als Weintester, sondern zum Trauben ernten...

After a few days in Port Adelaide, at Largs Bay and Semaphore beach with nice hours with great people, we went along myriads of vineyards, olive groves and almond plantations to Rapid Bay.
This is located at the Fleurieu Peninsula, a hilly peninsula with a large vine region, south of Adelaide.

At the Rapid Bay Campground we could snatch a space right in front of the beach, wherefrom it was awesome for swimming in the sea at a beautiful scenery.
Certainly we continued to work at our Campervan, now we almost completed to convert the rust and closed the holes.
Viktor also installed some new LED lights and a new soundsystem.

Now back in Adelaide, we visited a bit the city centre and witnessed the festivities at The Gardens (at the moment there are lots of locations in Adelaide with different festivals). Here you can watch shows of musicians, artists, comedians and so on or try different culinary dishes or drinks.

Since yesterday we finally got a job, which will may start next week, in fact we will assist at the vintage.
