A day in Oia

We got breakfast at 8:30am and had a bit of a rest before heading to Oia.. thanks to a couple we found out the bus to Oia stops at the bottom of Imerovigli and the best way to get there is back to Fira and then from there to Oia.

The bus to Fira was busy but nothing like the one to Oia.. people were standing even on the steps.. a sign that Oia was crowded.

We finally got to Oia and went to the 3 domes. There was a line of 10 people to get that classic photo,...at least the line was respected.

We then spent a couple of hours hoping between shops and getting souvenirs, at around 3pm the place was insanely crowded and hot so we went to the bus stop just to run into 100 people waiting.in line.. we ended up grabbing at taxi and for 25 euros we were back in the hotel in 15 minutes.Read more
