Füssen is a German town near the border to Austria. The city centre is full of life and you can hang on trying "snowballs" - a cookie amalgama - or drinking a beer while you eat cheese soup or liver dumplings. But the Bavarian town is most known because of the castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau that lie southeast of the town.
