    Not such a great day

    September 13, 2016 in Spain ⋅ 🌙 9 °C

But, still a good day because I'm on the Camino.
It started with an Italian woman turning on the lights in our room at 5:30 to let us know that they had found chinches - bedbugs. So that got us going early at 6:30, and walking in the dark for an hour before sunrise. Then during after a breakfast stop I discovered 3 small marks on my leg, which I thought were possibly bedbug bites. So I decided that when I stopped walking for the day that I would need to wash and dry, in a hot dryer, all my clothing and bedding, which meant that I had to be dressed in nothing but a borrowed towel for a couple of hours.
But the good thing was that I was forced to sort through my pack, something I hadn't done in a couple of weeks.
It ended up being rather cold and rainy for most of the day, so I just stayed in the albergue, venturing out to the restaurant next door for lunch and dinner.
At dinner I sat with Colin from Liverpool, and met three people from Seattle. Just as I was finishing dinner a group entered playing music and dancing, which kept this day from being totally blah. 😀
