Day 2 Salzburg

We ate breakfast in the hotel and went looking for a phone store to buy a SIM card. Couldn't find a phone store, but went to the post office where they had some. We weren't sure what to get and the clerks did not speak English, so we gave up. We then walked to the kiosk in Mirabelle Plaza to buy tours. The first tour was for one hour in a mini van that gave us a tour of the city. Informative, but hard to see all from a minivan. We then went on a 45 minute boat ride down the river, Informative and fun!
In the afternoon, we took the Sound of Music tour bus. Lots of fun as we visited the different places scenes from the movie were filmed. We stopped at a grocery and bought cheese, sausage, bread, fruit, wine and beer for our dinner. After dinner we fell asleep for an hour and then woke up to go to the. Hotel Sacher. We sat on the patio overlooking the river and the lit up buildings drinking coffee and eating famous Sacher Torte, a chocolate,cake with whipped cream. Back home and to bed!
