Ausflugstag in Brisbane

Heute ging es extreeeem früh los auf einen Ausflug. Und zwar wurde ich um 5:40 Uhr am Hostel abgeholt, um nach Morteton Island zu fahren. Vom Hostel aus bin ich mit dem Taxi zur Fähre, die mich dann nach Moreton Island gebracht hat. Dort angekommen sind eine aus Schweden Josefine und ich zum Schnorchelverleih und haben uns die Schnorchel Ausrüstung ausgeliehen. Dann sind wir per Fußmarsch zu den Schiffswracks gegangen. Auf Moreton Island sind Schiffswracks an denen man lang schnorcheln kann. Die Wracks sehen echt mega cool aus, aber das Schnorcheln war ein totaler Reinfall. Die Strömung war mega stark, sodass du kaum an die Wracks ransgekommen bist und die Sicht im Wasser war extrem schlecht. Also man hat gar nichts gesehen. Daher haben wir uns dann gesonnt und sind nach 2 Stunden wieder zurück und haben uns noch jeweils ein SUP ausgeliehen und uns weiter gesonnt. Ich muss auch sagen, dass ich heute extrem viel Farbe bekommen habe 😅
Nach langem Sonnenbaden und einigen Nickerchen am Strand, ging es gegen 16 Uhr mit der Fähre wieder zurück. Gegen 17:30 Uhr war ich dann im Hostel und habe nicht mehr viel gemacht. Habe mich geduscht, meinen Rucksack gepackt, da es ja morgen losgeht, und ansonsten entspannt :)

Today we started extremely early for a trip. I was picked up at the hostel at 5:40 am to go to Morteton Island. From the hostel I took a taxi to the ferry which brought me to Moreton Island. There arrived one from Sweden Josefine and I went to the snorkel rental and borrowed us the snorkel equipment. Then we walked to the shipwrecks. On Moreton Island there are shipwrecks where you can snorkel for a long time. The wrecks look really cool, but the snorkeling was a total disaster. The current was really strong, so you hardly got to the wrecks and the visibility in the water was extremely bad. So you didn't see anything. So we sunbathed and returned after 2 hours and borrowed one SUP each and continued to sunbathe. I also have to say that I got a lot of colour today: 😅
After long sunbathing and some naps at the beach, we went back with the ferry around 4pm. Around 5:30pm I was in the hostel and didn't do much anymore. I took a shower, packed my backpack, because it starts tomorrow, and otherwise relaxed :)Read more
