    II. ASI/ID - Bali Teil 2

    November 13, 2016 in Indonesia ⋅ ⛅ 30 °C

    Wie fast überall in Asien ist es auch in Bali wesentlich günstiger, Essen zu gehen als einzukaufen und selbst zu kochen.
    Am besten macht man es wie die Einheimischen und isst in den sog. Warungs, kleinen Straßenküchen - was ab 60ct beginnt und meist nicht mehr als 1,50€ kostet. Die wohl typischsten Speisen sind:
    - Sate/Satay
    Marinierte Fleischspieße mit scharfer Sauce
    - Nasi Ayam/Goreng/Campur
    Nasi ist Reis, Ayam Huhn, Goreng mit Ei und
    Campur total gemischt mit Gemüse etc
    - Mee Ayam/Goreng/Campur
    Mee sind Nudeln, Rest s. bitte oben
    - Cap Cay
    Gemüse/Gemüsesuppe
    - Tahu und Tempe
    Tofuvariationen

    - Sanur (Di-Mo):
    Sanur war für mich der Ort der Entspannung und wie ich mir Bali vorgestellt hatte:
    Schöne Strände, ruhig und v.a. nicht total überlaufen/touristisch und damit auch noch günstiger und besserer Kontakt zu Einheimischen. Das Hostel hatte so einen tollen Pool, Strandnähe mit Yoga und Massagen, viele mega günstige Warungs (große Portionen für gerade mal 70ct) und so nette Angestellte, dass ich entschied, die restlichen 6 Tage hier zu bleiben.
    Dabei fand ich eine gute Mischung zwischen Entspannung und Ausflügen:
    - We, 09.
    -->Entspannung
    Essen, Pool, Essen, Strand, Sonnenuntergang :)
    - Do, 10.
    -->Ausflug Tempel & Surfer
    Ulun Danu Beratan und religiöse Zeremonie
    Tanah Lot
    Padang Padang Beach (Surfer)
    Uluwatu Sonnenuntergang
    - Fr, 11.
    -->Entspannung
    Essen, Pool, Essen (kein Strand, da Regentag/-zeit)
    - Sa, 12.
    -->Ausflug Wasserfall & lokale Kunstmärkte
    Blangsinga Wasserfall & Tag mit Einheimischer
    - So, 13.
    -->Entspannung
    Essen, Pool, Essen, Strand, KOKUSNUSS & BALI-MASSAGE :))), Essen
    - Mo, 14.
    -->Backpacker-Alltag
    Waschen, packen, Orgakram für Australien ;)

    Like almost every other Asian country it is also in Bali a lot cheaper to go out to get some food instead of heading to a supermarket and cook by yourself.
    Best thing is to do it like the locals by eating in the so called warungs, small eateries on the streets - a normal meal starts at 60ct and you seldomly pay more than 1,50€. The most popular dishes are:
    - Sate/Satay
    Marinated grilled meat with spicy sauce
    - Nasi Ayam/Goreng/Campur
    Nasi is rice, ayam chicken, goreng with egg and
    campur totally mixed with vegetables etc
    - Mee Ayam/Goreng/Campur
    Mee are noodles, rest pls see above
    - Cap Cay
    Vegetables/Veg soup
    - Tahu and tempe
    Tofu variations

    - Sanur (Tu-Mo):
    Sanur was finally my place of relaxation and a town summarising my idea of Bali:
    Nice beaches, quiet and in particular not so packed/touristy and thus even cheaper with also better contact to locals.
    The hostel had an awesome pool, close to the beach with yoga and massages, a lot of incredibly cheap warungs (huge portions for just about 70ct) and so friendly staff that I decided to spend the other remaining 6 days here.
    With that I found a mixture between relaxation and excursions:
    - We, 09.
    -->Relaxation
    Food, pool, food, beach, sunset :)
    - Th, 10.
    -->Trip to some temples and surfing spots
    Ulun Danu Beratan and religious ceremony
    Tanah Lot
    Padang Padang Beach (surfers)
    Uluwatu sunset
    - Fr, 11.
    -->Relaxation
    Food, pool, food (no beach as rainy day/season)
    - Sa, 12.

    - Su, 13.
