    Travelling Route 32 North

    October 27, 2016 in Iceland ⋅ ⛅ 25 °C

The aim of this morning was to explore a route more towards the interior of Iceland. The scenery was very different than yesterday, as you can see. The first part of the journey the weather was sunny with a few showers and as we neared Mount Burfell the light on the snow-topped landscape was lovely. So we decided to venture up to a viewpoint which immediately resulted in someone turning off the light. Great, thanks a lot!

Now came the gamble - do we stay or do we go? (Isn't there a song about that?) .... we gambled and stayed in the hope the idiot who turned off the light would remember to turn it back on. Eventually, it sort of arrived but just as we'd given up. Tony thinks he may have ended up with one useful shot here but Rob? You're looking at his best effort and it was taken on the phone. Typical.
