Nusa Penida: Crystal Bay & Pandan Beach

After four days in Ubud, we are now on the island of Nusa Penida. Early this morning we took the speedboat from Bali to Nusa Penida. The ride just took 35 minutes and was super calm. We had to enter and exit the boat by walking through “shallow” water - adventures 😂. Our hotel on Nusa Penida is cute and located close to Crystal Bay Beach - we took a 2.7 kilometer walk to the famous bay. It was quite busy but beautiful.
Later in the afternoon Vany, Matthias and me went for a little adventure to find the next smaller close by bay “Pandan Beach”. It took us 15-20 minutes to hike up many steps, across the rocky coast and down again to the absolutely stunning bay. We took photos and went for a swim before returning to the others.

Nach vier Tagen in Ubud sind wir heute früh mit dem Schnellboot auf die Insel Nusa Penida gefahren. Die Fahrt dauerte nur 35 Minuten und war echt angenehm. Wir mussten das Boot durch "flaches" Wasser betreten und wieder verlassen - nasses Abenteuer 😂. Unser Hotel auf Nusa Penida ist echt süß und liegt in der Nähe vom Crystal Bay Beach. Wir sind 2,7 Kilometer zur berühmten Bucht gelaufen. Es war ziemlich voll, aber schön.
Später am Nachmittag gingen Vany, Matthias und ich auf ein kleines Abenteuer, um de nächstgelegene Bucht "Pandan Beach" zu finden. Wir brauchten 15-20 Minuten. Wir mussten viele Stufen über die felsige Küste hinauf und wieder hinunter steigen, bis wir in die absolut atemberaubende Bucht gelangten. Wir machten Fotos und nahmen eine Abkühlung im klaren Wasser bevor wir zu den anderen zurückkehrten.Read more
