Day 136: Still in Manila

Second-last full day here. Once again we spent basically the entire day inside our room doing much the same as yesterday - gaming and working respectively.

Lunch was from a nearby bakery which did typical Asian baked goods (though this being the Philippines they were mostly sweet ones), and then for dinner we went downstairs to the sports bar again. We shared a giant pizza which was pretty gigantic! Spent most of the time people watching as the geriatric white guys wandered in and out with their teenage Filipino girlfriends. So sketchy.

After dinner I decided to stay in the bar and watch some Premier League football since the games were on - first up was Arsenal vs Sunderland, followed by Manchester United vs Burnley. Not a good result for United, a 0-0 draw at home against a much poorer side. Not looking like a good season!Read more
