Day 357: Relaxing in Naples

We'd planned a spare day in Naples that we could use either today or tomorrow, and given that it was absolutely hammering with rain, we decided to use it today! Unfortunately for me, my charger definitely wasn't coming today, though it had left Kansas City, transited through Cincinnati and seemed to be on its way across the Atlantic!

Without a usable laptop I spent a lot of the day just listening to podcasts and reading stuff on my phone. I know some people use a phone as their primary device but I just can't do it - I'm too old school I guess.

Figured out how to get Netflix running on the apartment TV after a bit of trial and error. Got a surprise when on launching, it immediately loaded back into what the previous occupant had been watching - right in the middle of a steamy sex scene!

Ventured out for lunch to an arancini place, got a few different varieties including one with squid ink and another with salmon! Delicious. Got drenched even under an umbrella but it was worth it! Pizza for dinner, and my charger has made it to Leipzig!Read more
