    Hiroshima

    June 10, 2018 in Japan ⋅ ⛅ 20 °C

Today was a very eye opening day - with our first stop in Hiroshima / Peace Park. We we able to walk the site where the Atomic Bomb went off on August 6, 1945. There is a center / museum that we walked through that was so somber. I had no idea the impact the the bomb Haden this city and the amount of lives lost. What an experience to share with my daughters. A memory we will her forever.

After Peace Park - we drove over to the ferry to Migiyashi Island. There was another temple there - that we were able to walk through and experience. Today Yuki’s Family joined us as they live in Hiroshima and her mom works on the island. It was truly a pleasure to enjoy the beautifulness - with them. On the island - there’s an abundance of deer that are so friendly ... and of course looking for food - they will eat any thing! I had so much fun with them !

After our site seeing day - we went to Yakinuki / Korean BBQ ... and ate and laughed the night away ! It really could not have been a more perfect day❣️
