    Camel riding in Wadi Rum

    May 7, 2019, Eastern Mediterranean ⋅ ⛅ 19 °C

Today we went camel riding! I named my camel Cammy, Malcolm’s was Deirdre, Dale’s was Marumba, Mom’s was Nero, and Dad’s was Pete.
Camel riding really hurts your legs and butt, but it was fun. We didn’t go very far on them, but it felt like a long time since it was so hot 🥵! We stopped at three places along the way. There was the Siq, which was a narrow rock passageway, with supposedly super old drawings and writing on the wall and small pools of water! The next place was a big sand dune, that we walked up (🥵😓🥵) and it had a cool view. The last stop was a little bridge on some high rocks (but the kids were too tired to go). The camels were expensive, but a good experience.
