Day 10, Mekong Delta

Early start this morning to head to Danang airport for flight to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). We then drove to Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta. Here we boarded a boat to take us to our home stay for the night where a beautiful lunch awaited us, including elephant ear fish and fresh water Mekong prawns. After lunch we took off in "local transport", (back of a motorbike truck), which immediately burst a tyre! We all got out and after a short wait another truck arrived and we were able to continue. We went to visit a garden where they grow leaves which are used to make a green jelly. It is quite nice with syrup on it. We then visited another garden and tasted local fruits.もっと詳しく
