    Scex Rouge & Glacier 3000

    Accessed via Col du Pillion (mountain pass) about 30mins out from Gstaad/Turbach. The cable car access feat of engineering craftiness due to the shear elevation it traverses in a short span. The rope cable itself must weigh many tonnes, especially packed with skiiers and tourists fully laden with Swiss cheese and crackers.

    Up the top is a restaurant, ski lifts and a steel bridge ("Peak Walk") to access the Scex Rouge peak. You can see a snowy plateau about 100m below the peak on the video recording when the camera swings around, which I assume is the glacier. The marketing name is Glacier 3000, it's official name is Tsantleuron Glacier.

    Pub Ammo: In 2017 one of the ski operators found the bodies of a Swiss couple that went missing in 1942; their bodies perfectly preserved once the glacier receded.
