Tea plantation Singha Park

Next stop on our day tour pack was a view platform across the biggest tea plantation in the area operated by Singha, who is also producing a popular Thai beer.

We got told by our guide how tea is made: All kind of teas are made of the same plant and the only difference of the various tea kinds are the height and frequency of the tea leafs cut of the bush.

So the most expensive tea, white, is made of the top two or three leafs, while the cheapest tea, black, is made by older and lower tea leafs.Read more
