    Platge Marceletta

    April 28, 2018 in Spain ⋅ ☀️ 18 °C

We had a lovely breakfast at the hotel, including honey taken straight from the comb, before setting of on the famous Cami de Cavalls. This path circumnavigates the whole of Menorca and it is exceptionally well waymarked. We decided to head east from Cala Galdana where we were staying. The path started by hugging the coast before turning inland slightly so that we were walking through pine forest with beautiful wild flowers. Three miradors en route gave us great views of the coast and after 45 minutes we were presented with the stunning view over to Cala Marceletta and Cala Marcela, with turquoise water and golden sand. We spent a while on the beach and had a picnic lunch before wandering back. Dinner was at Delit where we had a set menu with an amazing gluten free almond cake. Nat wants to make one immediately after arriving home.Read more
