    At Sea - 17 - 20th March

March 20, 2023 in the United States

Since leaving Darwin, we experienced scenic cruising off the Kimberley coast. I only have a few photos, inside reflections off the windows really spolt the shots. We enjoyed the still waters & many islands & the commentary provided.

During the past 2 days we have enjoyed informative lectures on our upcoming day visits to firstly Busselton, then Fremantle. The reason we will visit Busselton first is that Fremantle has a cruise shop in Port.

Busselton also means we will be using our Tender boats alone, so it will be quite a process to get the 3000+ people off ship. Hopefully, conditions will be favourable with not too much swell. Let's see what tomorrow brings.

The 18th was my birthday - a late breakfast in the dining area, card games with our other shipmates & a lovely dinner in the evening, ending with our waiters all singing Happy Birthday & cake afterwards, a great day.

Sunday was a formal dinner evening, we all dressed in appropriate attire & had a wonderful evening.

There has been a drop in temperature from 30deg & high humidity to around 23 - 25 degrees over the ladt 24 hours with a swell and very windy conditions. Hopefully things will be calm tomorrow in Busselton.
