Der Flugzeugfriedhof von Bangkok

For us a must see in Bangkok was the airplane graveyard. It was fun climbing around there and sitting in the cockpit. Even though there are just the wrecks of 5 airplanes it was great. It is located a bit outside of the city but very easy to reach by water taxi.

Für uns und vor allem für mich ein must-see in Bangkok: Der Flugzeugfriedhof. Hier liegen 5 unvollständige Flugzeugwracks einfach so auf einer Wiese zwischen den Wohnhäusern. Da es noch relativ unbekannt ist konnten wir uns hier in aller Ruhe umsehen. Vor allem der Jumbo Jet ist wirklich beeindruckend auch wenn es alles schon sehr marode ist. Es hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt!
Der Friedhof liegt zwar knapp 15km weit weg vom Stadtzentrum dennoch konnten wir ihn ohne Probleme mit dem Wassertaxi erreichen. So gab es also auch noch zwei einstündige Bootsfahrten für ca. 50 Cent dazu. Was will man mehr?Read more
