Singha Park & Clock Tower

On the way back from the white temple we stopped at the Singha Park. It is a mix of a tea plantation, amusement park & zoo. In general it is a nice place but you can reach only a few places without renting a bicycle or joining a tour. It is still fair enough, because the park itself has no entrance fee. Nevertheless we just drove through by scooter to see some of the tea plantations and skipped the other attractions.

Auf dem Rückweg von weißen Tempel kamen wir noch am Singha Park vorbei. Der Park ist eine Mischung aus Zoo, Tee Plantagen und Vergnügungspark mit Zipline. Allerdings von nichts so richtig viel. Wir sind einmal mit dem Roller durchgefahren, da der Park kein Eintritt kostet. Allerdings kommt man zu den Tieren lediglich mit einer Tour oder mit einem Fahrrad und da zwei Fahrräder für eine Stunde teurer gewesen wären als unser Roller für 24 Stunden haben wir auf die Räder verzichtet und lieber einen Kaffee getrunken.

Am Abend haben wir dann noch einmal den Clock Tower besucht der jeden Tag um 19, 20 und 21 Uhr bunt leuchtet. Fazit: Ganz nett, aber nichts spektakuläres.Read more
