      Cataratas del Iguazu I

      April 8, 2017 in Argentina ⋅ ⛅ 25 °C

It is one of the biggest nature spectacle in the world... Iguazu waterfalls! We planned to do one day in the national park in Argentina and one day in Brasil. But due to the strikes in Argentina we arrived one day later than planed and had only one full day in Puerto Iguazu. So we decided to skip Brasil and enjoy the whole day on the Argentinian side. We arrived early in the morning, entering the park felt like being at a rollercoaster park. But after a 30min walk we made it to the forest with the first small waterfalls. Already amazing. But when we discovered the Iguazu waterfalls we were totally speechless. I ve never seen such a nature phenomena. It is so impressive when you see the amount of water crushing down the waterfalls. By the way, Iguazu are the biggest but not highest waterfalls in the world.
After we walked around for 3 hours we took a boat trip to get closer to the waterfalls. We expected to get a bit wet but not that we ride underneath a few waterfalls. It was funny, that also explained why other people were only wearing their swimmers. We didnt and were totally soaked. Anyway it was warm enough and we kept going to check out all the different fantastic views with different waterfalls in the background.
