Day 100: Yes really 100,in Buenos Aires

    October 28, 2016 in Argentina

Woohoo 100 days from home it was already a record for me from around the 25th day... but it sure is something you should have done once in your life. I really miss my home and I mean my friends and family mainly. They make where you feel yourself comfortable and safe. So since we are at a 100 days it's time for statistics 😉:
    15 Country's visited. On 4 different continents 😃.
19 Flights done. 28 different ways of transport used: Cars, Escalators😆, Planes, Subways, Metro's, Trains, Buses, City Bikes, Mountainbikes, Taxi's, Tuc tuc's, Scooter's, Motorbike's, Hiking shoes 😉, Speed boats, 4 Wheel drives, Ferry's, Kayak's, Zodiac's, Fins for diving😇, Lifts from nice people😊, Coaches, Hop on Hop off's, Party buses, Campervan 😍, Cesna, Crossbikes and a Helicopter😆. The amount of km traveled is something I have to do when I am back that is way to complicated.
I climbed 13 hills and mountains with my own strength (1 Almaty, 2 China, 1 Japan, 1 Darwin, 1 Magnetic, 1 Fraser, 1 Blue mountains, 1 Doom, 1 Cook, 1 Lares, 1 Machu, 1 Puno) from witch 4 I did climb more than 1 km upwards.
Let's keep it with that for the statistics 😉.
This morning I woke up in Sao Paulo, a place I actually only have used to sleep in order to avoid spending to much time on airports. So again to Guarulhos airport not that early 😉 hurray. Took the flight from 1200 and arrived in Buenos Aires 2,5 hours later. There I heard someone talking about the transport options to downtown and I decided to follow the best option. Together with quite a lot backpackers I took this Leon city transportation which was very good organised. Within an hour I was at my hotel checking in and again on the streets to shop for the trip to Antartica yeah. 3 hours walking I found a Salomon store, North face, Patagonia, Scandinavian outdoor (that sells mainly Columbia) and some more all round sport shops. It was not enough to get my gear together, I needed good stuff and if I have to spend so much money I rather have something I really like. So I headed back, ate some fast food socialised a bit now I still can and went for a good shower and a good nights sleep. Buenas (Aires) noches amigo's 😆.

    Demonstration for women rights

    November 24, 2017 in Argentina

One if many demonstrations at the Plaza de Mayo in Buenos Aires. This one was for women rights. There was so many people hanging around, sipping maté and shouting. There is no occasion in Argentina where you would not find asado or parilla.

    Buenos Aires - Moderno

    February 28, 2011 in Argentina

Read more
